Mindfulness, of which Mindfulness Meditation is an integral part, is the presence of a calm, alert, open, flexible, deliberate, "curious" but choiceless awareness of, and bare attention to, the action of one’s body, body functions, thoughts, sensations and feelings ... whatever comprises the action of the present moment. Mindfulness is not a religion or cult.

ABOUT ME

I am a wellness instructor, retreat director, life coach, meditation master, spiritual counsellor and inspirational conference speaker.

I am the author of several published books and refereed journal articles.

I have taught and practised Mindfulness and various techniques and methods of Meditation for several years.

I have received formal training in Mindfulness Meditation and other forms of meditation.

I have multiple academic qualifications in law, the arts, management, dispute resolution, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), religion and spirituality.

I am a member of the Australia and New Zealand Mental Health Association.

Since 2002 I have lectured regularly at the New South Wales Institute of Psychiatry to mental health workers.
